Gorgeous Luxury Home With Staggering View Over Aspen
Located in Aspen, Colorado, the Willoughby Way is a spacious luxury home, with gorgeous finishings. The interior is breezy and luminous, thanks to the glass walls that replace the regular ones. The house is flooded by light, offering also a beautiful view over the inspiring site. Surrounded by a staggering landscape, the Willoughby Way is a wonderful place for daydreamers: they can take long walks, admire the sunset, enjoy the fresh air and disconnect from the busy city rush. This particularly beautiful Aspen residence was defined by Charles Cuniffe Architects. “Heavy timbers and stone anchor this home into its site on Red Mountain, while large expanses of glass encompass the mountain views. Clean and contemporary materials create soft interiors.”
Timber beams embellish the interior and make it more comfortable and cozy. The stone walls reflect the rocky landscape and the sophisticated furniture adds a touch of personality to this living space. The interior is very much connected to the exterior: the materials used in defining the décor, the transparence created through the glass walls and through the irregular ceiling’s sculpture that resembles to a mountain peak. Modern and stylish, the Willoughby Way (due to its location) inspires tranquility and harmony.

Beautiful Home in Texas With Panoramic View Over the City

One of the major advantages of the Skyline House in Texas is definitely the panoramic view over the city (of Austin). The work of Dick Clark Architecture, this stylish house is envisioned as a place that connects the inhabitant with the natural landscape. Surrounded by lively oaks and by the abundance of luxuriant vegetation, the site is definitely the place to be, if you are seeking for a nice and calm home environment, with stylish details and gorgeous finishes. The Skyline House follows the natural topography: it’s long and linear, with plenty of open spaces, inducing a relaxing state of mind.

Breathe in and explore the boundaries of style. In case you are looking for a place that can easily be adapted for a party, this might just be it. The rooms are spacious and designed in a neutral palette of colours, focusing more on what the site has to offer. “Stucco, stone and zinc create a natural and low-maintenance exterior, while floor-to-ceiling glass and deep overhangs create spaces that are both dramatic and comfortable.” You can enjoy beautiful sunrises and spectacular dusks, as the city goes to sleep. Do you like it?

Evernote 5 for iOS coming soon: new UI, revised places view, same inability to forget (video)
Evernote? More like ever tease. Just this week it was tempting badly organized Mac owners with a beta release of Evernote 5, now the team is back to dangle its 5th version for iOS in front of our noses. The theme here is speed, with the new design putting everything just two taps away — along with quick note buttons right on the home screen. The places view also gets a lick of paint, to help you better pin down those moments of inspiration (or panicked remembering). Other tweaks include a new “recent notes” bar, and — generously — easier access to premium features. Ironically, the creators forgot to give us a release date, leaving us only with “coming very soon” for reassurance. While you wait, however, why not watch the preview video after the break for solace.

Google Maps Street View will be available via Mobile Safari in two weeks
According to many of our readers, if Apple’s iOS 6 Maps software isn’t suitably filling in for the old Google-powered Maps then the quickest workaround is simply using Google Maps as a web app. While we’ll likely be waiting some time to find out if a standalone replacement from Google really is in the cards, The New York Times‘ David Pogue mentions — while bemoaning some navigation related mishaps in the new app — Street View imagery will be accessible that way “in two weeks.” Hopefully users will find that makes the wait easier, but at least they’re not making you carry around one of those backpacks to make it all work.

Three landscaped terraces, a courtyard balcony and a landscaped rear garden ensure the existence of plenty of outdoor opportunities. The social area boasts a generous sofa set, a large dining table for ten and modern TV unit. Custom made joinery incorporating walnut desks and bedside tables, automated curtains and unique fabrics define the master bedrooms and guest bedrooms. The most appealing interiors of the entire residence are probably the home theater and the 10 meter pool room with glass mosaic tiles. VMware View delivers virtual Windows machines on Linux, OS X and Kindle Fire
There are very few places left in this world where you can’t access a virtualized Windows PC. VMware has its, well, wares available on almost every platform imaginable. Its View client, for connecting to remotely-hosted enterprise servers has become a particularly integral part of the company’s plan to put powerful virtualization tools at the tips of your fingers. After debuting on the iPad back in March, followed shortly afterwards by an Android edition, VMware View is now coming to Mac and Linux machines as well as the Kindle Fire. The feature set doesn’t contain many surprises, but full screen support in Lion makes a welcome appearance in the list. The app should already be appearing in the Amazon App Store and the Ubuntu Software Center, though you wont find it in the Mac App Store… at least not yet. Check out the complete PR after the break.
