Stylish and Spacious Apartment Integrating a Movable Wall
Very elegant and neat, this interior exhales style and sophistication. The decoration is the work of Fertility Design, a very interesting Chinese studio, that managed to integrate a movable wall inside the house, in order to create a breezy atmosphere and a more dynamic environment. The studio found the perfect solution and embedded a sliding wall/door, to isolate the working area from the rest of the house. The wall is entirely made of glass, so it creates a pretty good sound isolation.
The smooth transition, from one room to another is emphasised through pale neutral colours. The main material used in defining this space is the natural wood, which offers an elegant touch to this space. Everything is neat and “at the right place”, following the streams of simple, rectangular lines. The place inspires calmness and coziness. The bedroom is spacious and minimalist. There are no particular decorations that disturb the general fresh and relaxed atmosphere. Gorgeous and stylish, this is one fine and distinguished place to both, live and work. Agree?

Spacious and Bright Apartment With a Staggering View Over Mexico City’s Skyline
We want to share with you another spectacular example of contemporary design, the work of MAP/MX, an architecture and design firm headquarted in the city of fascination, New York. The P1 apartment is located in Mexico City, on the top floor of a 10 story building. With an amazing view over the city’s skyline, the P1 spreads over 6,458 square foot, showcasing a stylish interior and a wonderful garden-like terrace. Spacious and breezy, the living room embraces wood, as the main decoration material, creating a more “natural” environment, making you forget about the urban jungle. Furthermore, the terrace – a place that is entirely dedicated to your unique moments relaxation, is adorned harmonically with plants and small trees.
The study room is envisioned as an open space, that allows a large amount of green plants and light to sneak inside the house. The main floor accommodates the public and the office areas, while the top floor is reserved for the bedrooms. Simply spectacular, the apartment has an interesting space division: a stone wall separates the private area from the public one. With an impressive relaxation spot embedded and a staggering view over the city, the P1 apartment is ideal for those who enjoy both, the natural and the urban environments.

Spacious Modern Home Providing Freedom of Movement
The outstanding attachment towards nature, made a Canadian family decide to move their permanent home…into the woods. Gestion René Desjardins, the Canadian studio that completed the interior of this particular house, had to “investigate” what their clients wanted. Located in the rural Quebec, Maison du Boisé is a contemporary home in the middle of the woods. The clients requested a home that is modern, without being “minimalistic”. Moreover, they wanted a space that provides freedom of movement for their three children.
After gathering ideas and suggestions, the designers managed to create a fun place, offering “fluid circulation for joyful fun of all kinds”. The theatrical high ceilings remind us of the classical architecture where grand means gorgeous. The designers explain: “Reinterpreted from a modern perspective, the coffered ceilings, theatrical openings in the passages and wide matt-white mouldings running along the base of the silk-grey walls combine to create a sense of elegance and harmony, but, surprisingly they bring comfort, too.” Wide windows complete the décor, showcasing the beautiful green site, inviting you to relax, enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and explore the surroundings. Gorgeous spherical chandeliers adorn the living and the dining room and playful tones of purple add some fun to the ambiance.

Modern Concrete Home With Spacious Interiors in Israel
Studio Sharon Neuman Architectscompleted a modern 2,200 square foot concrete home in Israel, for a family with three children. The architects explain the reasons behind this design approach: “ After giving a great amount of consideration to the functionality of the space and the movement scheme, we have decided to build a split level house, placing the master bedroom half way between the public area and the children’s space. The scheme evolved into an L shape plan with the Master Bedroom placed in the middle, outside the L, being surrounded by its 2 wings. Since basement was not part of the requirements, we decided to hang the Master Bedroom as a cantilever, thus freeing the space beneath it, enlarging the garden and allowing interesting views across the lot.” The residence features contemporary interiors, with the double height living room acting as the core of the project. We received a project of an elegant sofa design that we would like to share forwards. Here is the press release we were sent: Designed by Nicola Gallizia, for Moldeni&C, Oz is one of those ‘magical’ products that has been so cleverly engineered that it just works. The transformation from sofa to bed is delivered in a few easy steps. The slatted base is divided into two halves that slot inside each other to create the sofa base. The front panel of the base hides a small lever that when engaged allows this panel and one half of the base to slide out horizontally until it locks into place, providing a comfortable bed. When in use as a sofa, the armrests remain at its side, however when the base slides out the armrests simultaneously fall away and slide neatly under the base leaving only the ‘headboard’.

The ‘headboard’ or ‘sofa backrest’ can be set at different heights further aiding the item’s transformation from sofa to bed and back again. The seat cushion unfurls to make up a seamless, orthopedic mattress and the back cushions double as pillows! The sliding mechanism of both the base and the armrests is an unique piece of engineering patented by Molteni&C. Available in widths 1820mm and 2020mm, the sofa is 1170mm deep and extends to 2080mm when transformed into the bed. The mattress size is either 1600 or 1800mm and the overall maximum height of the backrest/headboard is 670mm. Find it appealing?

Spacious Scandinavian Crib Encouraging Socializing
For those of you who enjoy an apartment with a feeling for the original, here is a tasteful and completely renovated Scandinavian crib which occupies an entire floor of a turn of the century building in Gothenburg, Sweden. Seen on Alvhem, the apartment features a ceiling height of about 3.3 meters, finely preserved stucco, high windows and bay windows. But the traditional elements are pleasantly complemented by contemporary interior design details. Composed of three rooms plus kitchen, the loft has a living area of 147 square meters, exuding a feeling of space. The large kitchen offers wonderful opportunities for gathering friends and acquaintances over, or for throwing an intimate party. Tall ceilings and a clever layout can contribute to the much needed idea of space. Here is a penthouse that displays generous interiors which fit this profile. Located in Stockholm’s artsy Birkastan neighborhood, the apartment features tall white walls, enhancing the feeling of an airy home.
