Twitter archive downloads start rolling out to select users, lets you relive 2006 tomfoolery
Remember how you used to rave about MySpace or how excited you were to snag a brown Microsoft Zune? Twitter remembers, and it’s ready to let you relive the most awkward thoughts you ever deemed fit to publish on the internet. As promised by CEO Dick Costolo Twitter is letting users download a complete archive of their digital musings. The option hasn’t hit the mainstream Twitterverse just yet, but select users are finding the option hidden in the web client’s settings page under the heading “your Twitter archive.” Compiled archives are pretty, too — wrapped in HTML and organized by month. Ready to relive 2006, 140 characters at a time? Check out your own archive (if you’re lucky enough to have the option) and share your favorite embarrassments with us in the comments after the break.

CM10 nightly builds now rolling out to select devices
Like Jelly Beans, custom Android ROMs tend to have different flavors — and CyanogenMod happens to be a fan favorite. Good thing then, that the CM10 team is now serving nightly builds of its Jelly Bean-based custom ROM update. According to the CyanogenMod Google+ page, CM10 nightlies are now available for the US Samsung Galaxy S III variants, the original Galaxy S and the Galaxy S II (i9100g), the Galaxy Nexus, the Nexus S and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3), Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5), Nexus 7, Transformer and Transformer Prime tablets. The list will fill out with more devices when they are ready, the team says, and will continue to have CM9 updates (now weekly, rather then nightly) at their disposal.

TiVo Premiere updates rolling out to the masses

Knowing an update is coming and actually getting it are two different things entirely and if you were saddened that you missed out the latest build on your TiVo Premiere or Elite early, your wait is over. TiVo has announced via the official TiVo Blog that all TiVo Premieres should be a forced update away from an HD guide and other enhancements. Unlike those lucky few who only got to enjoy a few of the features, like the integrated Hulu search early, the last remaining feature has also officially been enabled, Premiere-to-Premiere streaming. Also of note is that if you pick up a new Premiere or Elite that was shipped with the older software, as soon as you complete the guided setup, your new box will proceed to download the latest and greatest Tivo has to offer.

Galaxy S Gingerbread update now rolling out across Europe
Samsung said its Android 2.3 update for the Galaxy S would come in mid-April and, by golly, it meant it literally. Sometime during the night between the 15th and 16th days of this month, the Korean manufacturer’s Kies servers started serving up a fresh portion of Gingerbread to Galaxy S owners in parts of Europe, and now reports are coming in of users successfully updating their Hummingbird-equipped handsets. It’s a limited rollout, benefiting the Nordic countries, Holland and Germany first, but we doubt Samsung will hold out on the rest of Europe for much longer. If you want to try your luck, boot up your Kies updating utility and pray to your nearest tech deity.

HP rolling out webOS 3.0 beta to Early Access developers today
Interested in developing for HP’s upcoming TouchPad? Sure you are — but to play ball, you’re going to need access to webOS version 3.0, which the company has announced will be getting delivered as part of the festivities at its webOS Connect event in London today. Of course, you can’t just wander in off the street and get access to it: you’ll need to be signed up for the Early Access program, which has been dropping early webOS SDK builds on eager devs for some time. Naturally, we’d prefer a real, actual, physical TouchPad to the mere idea of a TouchPad in emulation coming from the soft glow of our laptop displays… but we’ll take what we can get while we wait for the June launch.
[Thanks, Michael]
