ThreeUK pledges to add LTE to its unlimited data plans at no extra cost
The old beer-selling adage that good things come to those who wait also applies to those who’ve yet to sign away a kidney for one of EE’s LTE plans. ThreeUK is announcing that it’s going to bundle LTE into its existing unlimited mobile data packages without any additional charges. The network is planning to launch its own 4G product later in the year, using spectrum it snagged when T-Mobile and Orange were forced to sell of a chunk in order to see their marriage go through. As such, existing ThreeUK customers who own an LTE-ready device can expect to see their mobile internet shoot through the roof as soon as the capacity is switched on.

Cost Efficient Modern Residence with Beautiful Lake Views in Canada

Nestled amid towering oak trees, House on the Bluffs is an impressive modern residence designed by Toronto-based studio Taylor Smyth Architects in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. The stucco-box home was mostly developed vertically and is structured on two levels, each defined by spectacular glass additions. According to the architects, the modest budget required a rigorous approach to cost saving measures: “the wood framing was built using a panelized construction system from a local Ontario company. All floor, wall and roof components were prefabricated, then shipped to and assembled on site. The advantages included a significantly stronger structure, less waste and energy use and quicker installation (less than half the time compared to traditional methods) which resulted in approximately $10,000 of savings; the existing foundations and basement walls were re-used, saving several weeks of construction time; and Algonquin stone, left over from another job site, was salvaged for the feature walls and exterior walkways“. The project has a total surface of 2300 square feet and was designed in connection to its reach environment, ensuring that every room has a different experience with the lake and green landscape-enjoy the views!

Samsung suggests Galaxy Tab will cost between $200 and $400 — also coming to Vodafone
Early reports indicate Europe will pay a pretty penny for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, but the 7-inch tablet may cost a good bit less when it comes to US shores — the Wall Street Journal paraphrases a Samsung executive who claims it could run between $200 and $300 depending on the all-important carrier subsidies. The Korea Times, meanwhile, suggests a $300 to $400 retail price according to a different Samsung bigwig, who added that the Tab “will cost slightly more than the Galaxy S smartphone.” As you’re probably aware, Sammy’s Galaxy S typically retails for about $200 in the US — excepting Sprint’s Epic 4G at $250 — so if you held a bursting Li-ion battery to our head and forced us to guess, we’d say the latter range of dollar signs is far more likely.
By the way, Vodafone shows the Galaxy Tab as “coming soon.” Hit our more coverage links for details.
