Promoting Sustainable Thinking: Eco Museum in France

eco01 Promoting Sustainable Thinking: Eco Museum in France

If you are a fan of green thinking, then you will surely appreciate this unique project. The ‘Eco Museum’ is located in Rennes, France and was designed by architects Guinee Potin from Nantes. The building’s exterior is organic, as it is completed with a skin made from chestnut shingle. With an overall unconventional design, it is difficult from afar to decide upon the nature of this construction. The main entrance is hidden beneath an odd looking volume housing the administrative offices areas. The interior is a bit unpredictable also, featuring  eco-friendly arrangements mixed with a modern touch. Large timbers are used as support beams and wood is present all around, contributing to the idea of a sustainable environment. Freshome readers, do you enjoy seeing this type of educational public facilities?
